We are committed to excellence in craftsmanship and innovation. To support our growing operations, we are seeking a skilled Upholsterer with experience in vinyl upholstery, ideally with a background in boat building or automotive industries.

Job Purpose:

As an Upholsterer in our Carpentry Department, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality vinyl upholstery for our custom and semi-custom catamarans and luxury express cruisers. Your expertise will contribute to the luxurious and functional interiors that define our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vinyl upholstery tasks, including cutting, sewing, and fitting materials to marine-grade standards.
• Collaborate with the carpentry team to ensure precise measurements and perfect fits for all upholstery projects.
• Work with various types of vinyl and other materials to create durable, aesthetically pleasing finishes for boat interiors.
• Repair and replace upholstery on existing vessels as needed.
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all work performed.
• Ensure all upholstery work meets safety and quality standards specific to the marine environment.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of upholstery materials and tools.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining all tools and equipment in good condition.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure project timelines are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in vinyl upholstery.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Proven experience in vinyl upholstery, with a preference for boat building or automotive experience.
• Strong skills in cutting, sewing, and fitting vinyl upholstery materials.
• Familiarity with marine-grade materials and techniques is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
