Our Eclipse Factory is committed to crafting exceptional boats, including the renowned Eclipse range of Express Cruiser Power boats. We are currently seeking an experienced quality manager to join our team and contribute to the production of these extraordinary marine vessels.

Job Purpose:

As the Quality Manager at our Eclipse Factory, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our vessels. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and processes to ensure our products meet the highest industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety.
• Oversee all quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and audits throughout the production process.
• Monitor and analyse production quality data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to boat building quality.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Train and mentor quality control staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in production.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices and technologies.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Extensive experience in quality management within the boat building or marine manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective quality assurance systems.
• Experience with quality control tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
