To support our growing operations, we are seeking a skilled Head ofSpray Painting for our Eclipse Factory to oversee and optimise our finishing processes.

Job Purpose:

As the Head of Spray Painting at our Eclipse Factory, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the finishing processes for our Eclipse range of powerboats. Leveraging your expertise in fairing and spray painting, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and aesthetics are met in the final stages of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all fairing and spray painting activities for the Eclipse range of powerboats.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of fairing and spray painting technicians.
  • Coordinate with production managers to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Inspect and approve surfaces before and after fairing and painting to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of painting supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to fairing and painting processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in spray painting techniques and materials.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Proven experience in fairing and spray painting in the boat building or automotive industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of spray painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
