Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing visits NSRI HQ
Before the call comes in, the planning has already started.
At the NSRI Headquarters in Cape Town, operations run around the clock; coordinating crews, tracking conditions, preparing resources and supporting rescue stations across the country long before disaster strikes. It’s the side of rescue work most people never see, but one that plays a critical role every single day.
Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing recently visited the NSRI Headquarters to get a closer look at the systems, people and planning behind the organisation’s operations. From communications and coordination to the constant readiness required to respond at a moment’s notice, the visit offered insight into what keeps the NSRI moving when conditions along the coast (and inland) become unpredictable.
This is more than emergency response. It’s preparation, structure, teamwork and commitment. All working together behind the scenes to support those on the water when it matters most.
