The Two Oceans 850E is a fully custom-built luxury power catamaran, designed by award-winning Du Toit Yacht Design — creators of more custom catamaran tonnage than any other firm in the Southern Hemisphere. This vessel is the 13th large custom catamaran launched by Two Oceans Marine in the past eight years in collaboration with Du Toit Yacht Design.
Constructed using epoxy E-glass with a PVC foam core and carbon fibre reinforcements, the 850E was tailored to the owner’s specific requirements. With wider hulls than its predecessors, it offers more spacious cabins and transverse berths. Du Toit Yacht Design also handled the interior layout, furnishings, and finishes, delivering a refined yet practical aesthetic with teak flooring, walnut woodwork, Ralph Lauren fabrics, and ambient LED lighting.
The main deck features a full-width galley, complete with modern appliances, extensive storage, and Corian countertops — ideal for long-term cruising. Forward is a lounge with a flat-screen TV and advanced entertainment system, while the port side houses the nav station and systems console.
The aft cockpit serves as the primary living and dining space, with two sunbeds, a 10-seater walnut table, fridges, freezers, a gas BBQ, and ample storage. A second lounge area on the flybridge includes a wet bar, dining table, ice machine, drinks fridge, day head, and full-size jacuzzi — perfect for entertaining.
Accommodations include four luxurious en-suite double cabins (including two with Hästens mattresses) and two crew cabins, sleeping eight guests and four crew in comfort. Expansive Burmese teak decks host a 5m custom RIB with a 70 hp outboard, a 6.1m RIB with twin 270 hp engines, and two Yamaha WaveRunners, launched via hydraulic cranes.
Powered by twin Cummins 610 hp engines, the 850E cruises efficiently at 10 knots with a 3,500 NM range and reaches speeds up to 22 knots. Her state-of-the-art electrical systems and dedicated systems room complete this vessel’s high-performance profile.
The Two Oceans 850E is a standout example of bespoke luxury, expert craftsmanship, and seamless collaboration between owner, designer, and builder.
