Two Oceans 650

Luxury Sailing Catamaran

Launched in 2011, the Two Oceans 650 Luxury Sailing Catamaran was custom-designed by award-winning South African yacht designer Du Toit Yacht Design for luxury cruising and open-ocean crossings.

The hull and top deck of the Two Oceans 650 Luxury Sailing Catamaran are built using foam-core sandwich construction, vacuum-bagged with stitched multiaxial glass and epoxy resins. All materials are Lloyd’s approved. The catamaran hull provides exceptional stability and generous interior space — comparable to much larger monohulls. High bridge deck clearance ensures a smooth, quiet ride even in rough conditions.

The air-conditioned saloon on the main deck includes the galley — fitted with fridges, freezers, cooking appliances, a dishwasher, saloon table, drinks cupboard, wine rack, navigation station, and lounge seating. Large marine hatches and toughened glass ensure good ventilation and visibility.

Each hull houses two private, air-conditioned en-suite double cabins with independent access to the saloon via separate companionways. The forward sections of both hulls contain private en-suite crew quarters. The port hull also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The spacious aft cockpit offers direct saloon access. A coach roof extension provides overhead protection, with optional full weather shielding via side canopies. Additional fridges, freezers, and an ice maker are located here — easily accessible to crew and guests without entering the saloon.

Engine and generator access is via hatches on the aft deck — avoiding disruption to the accommodation during maintenance.

The flybridge houses the control station and deck gear winches — offering excellent visibility of sails and surroundings, while enabling localised sail handling and ease of docking.

Foredeck access is enhanced by a raised bulwark running stem to stern, topped with safety rails for secure footing in rough weather.

The uncluttered foredeck includes built-in seating, crew quarters, trampolines, mast, anchor locker, windlass, and sail lockers — all designed for safe and easy access.
