Senior Boatbuilding Professionals & Project Managers

Experienced boatbuilders play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality and craftsmanship at Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing. These senior professionals bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, ensuring that every project is executed to perfection. Our project managers oversee the planning, execution, and completion of our vessel projects. They coordinate between various departments, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure that each project meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Boatbuilding experience is critical.

Boat Building – Primary and Final Assembly

Our primary and final assembly teams are at the heart of our production process, meticulously crafting each vessel to ensure superior quality and performance. These roles require skilled hands and a keen eye for detail, as our team members bring together all the components that make our vessels exceptional. Boatbuilding experience is critical.

Carpenters

Our carpenters are responsible for creating the beautiful, custom interiors of our vessels. This includes cabinetry, trim work, and other wood components that add both functionality and aesthetic appeal to our vessels. Skilled craftsmanship and an eye for design are essential in these roles. In addition, tooling carpenters bring perfection to our moulds, and final assembly carpenters bring it all together in the final stages of the interior fit-out of our vessels. Boatbuilding experience is ideal — alternatively, extensive shopfitting and cabinetry experience.

Fairing and Spray Painting

The fairing and spray‑painting team ensures that each catamaran has a flawless finish. These professionals are experts in surface preparation, fairing, and applying high‑quality finishes that not only enhance the visual appeal, but also protect our vessels against the harsh marine environment. Boatbuilding experience is ideal.

Design and Engineering

Our design and engineering team drives innovation, creating the plans and specifications that guide our production process. From structural and mechanical design to electrical systems and interior layouts, these roles require technical expertise and a passion for pushing the boundaries of marine design. Yacht design and draughting experience is critical.

Laminating

The laminating team works with advanced composite materials to create the strong, lightweight structures of our catamarans. These roles require precision and expertise in handling resins, fibreglass, and other materials that form the backbone of our vessels. Boatbuilding experience is ideal.

Electrical Systems

Our electrical systems team is responsible for installing and maintaining the complex electrical systems that power our vessels. These professionals ensure that all electrical components are installed correctly and function reliably, providing safe and efficient power throughout the vessel. Boatbuilding experience is ideal — alternatively, automotive electrical experience.

Mechanical Systems and Plumbing

The mechanical systems and plumbing team install and maintain the engines, generators, and other mechanical systems that drive our vessels. They also handle all plumbing installations, ensuring that each vessel has reliable water systems and waste management solutions. Boatbuilding experience is ideal.

Procurement and Logistics

Our procurement and logistics team is essential in managing the supply chain, ensuring that we have the materials and components needed to build our vessels. These professionals handle everything from sourcing and purchasing to inventory management and logistics coordination. Boatbuilding or large manufacturing experience is critical.

Commissioning, Quality Control, and Seatrialing

The commissioning, quality control, and sea trialling team is responsible for ensuring that each catamaran is fully operational and meets all specifications before delivery to the customer. This includes testing all systems, making final adjustments, conducting thorough sea trials, evaluating the vessel’s handling, speed, and stability, and ensuring that all systems function correctly under real‑world conditions. Boatbuilding and boating experience are important.

Stores

Our stores team manages the inventory of materials and supplies needed for the production process. These professionals ensure that the right parts are available when needed, maintaining efficient and organised storage systems. Boatbuilding or large manufacturing experience is critical.

Accounting

Our accounting team manages the financial operations of Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing. From payroll and invoicing to financial planning and reporting, these professionals ensure that our financial practices are sound and support our growth and sustainability. Large manufacturing experience is ideal.
