The Two Oceans Mini Tuna Derby will initially only be open to Atlantic Boat Club members’ boats with invited guest anglers due to COVID number restrictions and see where we end up.
We will be targeting the 3 weekends from 13th of November (new moon) looking for at least 1 day in any of the 3 weekends to constitute a comp.
Tuna over 50kg will be eligible to weigh and only one prize per boat, we will only have an open category. Entry is R200 per angler and current prizes are 1st R20k, 2nd R5k and 3rd R3k…. usual auctions and Calcutta.
COVID rules and regs are going to make opening and closing functions impossible so we are looking to try and get outside for auctions and prizes…. as plans develop we will make further announcements.
